Join us at Chicago Bulta Community Zen Center, Bultasa Buddhist Temple of Chicago

The Chicago Bulta Community Zen Center cordially invite you to our newly formed, twice a week English service,
meditation, and Dharma Talk gathering.
The gathering will provide you with ample opportunities to learn & practice Korean Buddhism and Zen meditation.

We will meet every Thursday evening and Sunday morning.
Venerable Hyeonseong Abbot will give us a Dharma Talk and guide the meditation every Thursday evening.

In 1974 Bultasa (the name means the Buddha's Monastery) was founded by Zen Master Seung Sahn (died on November 30, 2004).
In June 1986 purchased and moved to its present property.
On May 17, 2007 acquired and annexed its adjoining property (4338 W. Montrose Avenue) as Bultasa East Education Hall.
